Interregional Mobility Patterns of Russian Scientists and Their Willingness to Move in the Future

Mobility of highly skilled personnel is closely related to the issue human capital distribution, determining innovative development prospects various regions and countries. The present study focuses on intra-Russian interregional mobility, in particular, movement scientists between different cities constituent entities Russian Federation. Based questionnaire survey 1880 researchers, we examined actual movements (to receive education gain work experience other countries) their attitude mobility (willingness move future participate interesting projects and/ or expecting satisfying remuneration).
